Here's a nice perspective to ponder upon.
Attitude and Emotions!!!
When
someone is doing or about to do something, in a way we don't want it to be done,
and if
we are not able to accept it, we become Angry.
but if
we are able to accept it, we remain Tolerant.
When
someone has or is able to produce something, which we don't have or not able to produce,
and if
we are not able to accept it, we become Jealous.
but if
we are able to accept it, we get Inspired.
Just a thought of someone,
who is not physically present then,
if
we are not able to accept it, we feel the pain of “Separation”.
but if
we are able to accept it, we nourish the “Memories”.
So what is the Equation for Emotion?
Something + Acceptance = Positive Emotion
Something + Non Acceptance = Negative Emotion
So, the Real cause of our Positive or Negative Emotion is….
Our Perspective … our Perception …. our Attitude….
Our ‘Acceptance’ or ‘Non acceptance’ (of 'Something' or 'Someone'),
that makes the Difference!
It is not the World and People.
but our Response & Reactions to the situations & people,
that determines the State of Mind and Mood we slip into…!
Next time when we feel disturbed,
we can analysis the situation with the above equation in mind,
and be assured that we will be back to Normal,
