Freeze and I'll walk on water

In continuation with the previous post, here I'll put down all observations that I could document during the summers with my team EASSy at L&T Infotech.

19-06-2008
We had a headsup the next day, and I was totally in a different world. Surprisingly ever individual in our team tried to do all the 'to do' tasks, hence me a zombie. Some tasks were obviously left undone.
Here he said:
In a group, no task can be accomplished individually, hence working in a group, knowing group mates individually and their abilities and likings becomes all the more important. This is to allocate tasks and work efficiently.
This was a huge learning for me personally, and there is an important thing that I could recollect then.
"no one is going to be remembered by what work we did, but how we treated our fellow mate"

During one of our casual conversations while he quizzed us why we wanted to work, i didnt want to answer his questions because i feared those will dilute his insights.
He said " every human being does work only when there is self-interest. Only when there is self interest one works. This is a bitter truth, which if understood, one can work practically within the framework provided."

This is an all pervasive truth beacause
" every individual is eternally insecure. This insecurity makes the person work for stability. stability brings security. this stability is achieved by solid knowledge fundamentals and their  application to solve problems."
Out of this conversation, there is a Golden rule that i learnt
the most important thing anyone seeks in life is Stability.
only a balanced person is stable.
it is this stability which leads to security.

That day we had another Golden rule from Nolly Sir
to convert specifications into design
and walk on water is the same
if and only if both are frozen
