The entire nation is riding in the wave of fight against corruption. Shri Anna Hazare is hence the public face to fight off in this crusade
There are many experiences to be shared, but prominent among them would be my experience at Azad Maidan on 16th August 2011.
There is a flipside to not reporting events on the same day..though i'll try to do justice the emotional surge on that day
It would be apt to call this protest as one of those very few, where members from all walks of society have participated in some ways or the other as they have been victims( read perpetrators :p too in some) of corruption.

A small background about the day and the activities can be described as below.
The need for a strong and independent framework to tackle corruption at all levels (retail, corporate, judicial, political) led to the version of 'JanLokpal' draft. The protest resulted due to govt failure to propose the recommended draft in the house of commons. The protest was to impress upon the fact that the entire country and all the stake holders need a strong framework to tackle corruption and hence strong laws should be brought in place and put in force at all levels.
Activities during the protests are as described below.
The protesters ranged from (students, office goers, engineers, old uncles).. i also feel that there were many who were rallied to create a mob-effect at the grounds.. so there was a lot of chaff with the wheat.
As a volunteer, we had requested everyone to be peaceful and continually assert for corruption free nation.
The slogans ranged from 'Vande Mataram' to derogatory ones aimed towards the politicians.. though we insisted that the protest is not against a politician, but demands made from the system itself(though the govt can play a huge role in being effective enablers/catalysts).
It was a 'Jail Bharo Andolan', which was probably done even during British Regime (non-violent resistance).
So it was nostalgic moment for all of us, where we entered the police vans shouting slogans of 'Inquilab Zindabad'. We continued singing national songs and shouting slogans. There was a feeling of belonging to the freedom fighters but an honest look in the mirror would rubbish all the notions for zillion reasons.
primarily the police did not raise a single finger, they were co-operative amidst all the derogatory remarks (this would not have happened in a non-constitutional state... against which the masses were demonstrating)
There was no lathi-charge or any punishments..(that would have separated the actors from the doers)
The entire day spent at the jail was a very different experience. There are lot many aspects that are unknown to us, but each one of us has a reason to join a cause. I strongly believe in our constitution and attribute my existence today because of it. I feel that participating in every possible way to enhance our system is our duty as well as a prerogative. I still have to learn a lot but there are times when there is no fear. I guess this was one of them.. atleast close to one :)
