Harishchandrachi Factory

Harishchandrachi Factory depicts Dadasaheb Phalke's journey in making India's first motion picture film "Raja Harishchandra" way back in 1910s.

I loved the way Director Paresh Mokashi crafted this film. More importantly it was superb to see how he could capture Dadasaheb Phalke's struggle in a very funny way in this film.
Needless to mention the entire team has acted superbly and there is a certain rawness in each character, which is very evident.
It is a very beautiful and inspiring movie. Everyone must watch it.

Now there are few things that are more important that this story teaches. I'll try to put things down, so that i can keep visiting this later :)

What must have been Dadasaheb's mind frame while he failed at multiple enterprises (his photo shop(rumours were, that the camera would suck out life out of the person who is clicked), printing press in Gujarat, his magician tricks. He was an architect and could have led a superb life in those Brit times building and designing iconic buildings.
what must have driven him to sell his belongings for raising money for the camera and art of film making.
He wasn't financially well-off and so was his family. They were in shambles.
Still, what drove him to make such sacrifices.
Nothing would have been possible without a family of the kind that he had. His wife, his kids were all supporting and working in his endeavour. What must have driven them
Had it not been for him, would we have seen a multi-billion money spinning industry in India, employing atleast a million Indians?

I feel that there was only one thought dominant in Dadasaheb's mind, which attracted all his energies, his focus and attention. This silenced all the other attentions ( making ends meet at home, taking care of kids, looking after family, day to day hassels) and allowed only one thought in mind, which attracted all the people to achieve what we see today.

Isnt it?
